Our operation is tight-knit, with minimal bureaucracy, so we are able to move quickly, if we’re required to change course or cover issues that may have just arisen, related to a number of actionable matters connected to Proposition 13, avoiding  property tax reassessment with present-day values, parent to child transfer of inherited property also referred to as parent to child exclusion; or Proposition 58 and trust loans… and its’ affect on trust lenders, a fast moving trust distribution loan or probate loan, commonly called loans to trusts or loans to irrevocable trusts. 

Proposition 58 and trust loans make it possible for those in urgent need to receive an often life-saving trust loan, wherein no conventional lenders will provide these folks with fund, no matter how urgent the circumstances may be. They don’t care.  But we do.

The entire staff here at Property Tax Transfer, along with many other people in this country, truly believe that, as realtor Devin Lucas says here in an interview, the government has enough money… they don’t need to grab more by raising taxes on home owners. And this has numerous implications, cascading out from the one activity of raising property taxes… affecting many different residential and commercial or industrial property owners, in all sorts of ways. 

As Californians often state, this goes for ALL home owners, as well as renters, due to the fact that if property taxes go up – landlords, who are property owners are, of course, motivated to raise rents.

So let’s be sure to bear in mind that EVERYONE is affected by this issue, we’re all affected by the conditions we live in and live with… and by the taxes we pay to keep it all going.  We all bear the responsibility, as Howard Jarvis (Taxpayers Association) taught us, to push back against those who would impose unfair taxation on us, and take advantage of us financially, to pay for special interests we often know nothing about!

And just as we’re all affected by international economic conditions, and  worldwide diseases, or nationwide economic and healthcare issues – middle class, wealthy, young, middle aged, and old alike are affected by how much it costs to maintain our lifestyle and home.  And property taxes factor into this equation.  If property taxes make it impossible to maintain our home, then we’re abruptly placed in profound peril.

As FDR said to Winston Churchill, just hours after Pearl Harbor was attacked – “Well… We’re all in the same boat now!” And that thought rings true for those of us who are in grave financial peril – as much today as it did then, when the entire country was in peril.
